Our Team
Donna Fletcher, President of Donna E. Fletcher Consulting, Inc. Donna launched her career at Leo Burnett Advertising (now part of Publicis) in 1977 guiding strategy and advertising development for Fortune 100 clients such as Kellogg's, Pillsbury, and Procter and Gamble.
She established Donna E. Fletcher Consulting, Inc. in 1991 and has built a successful consulting practice designing research and providing marketing consulting to for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
Her understanding of libraries and municipalities has been honed by her role as a Highland Park library trustee for six years, including two as president.
Donna has conducted numerous community and in-library surveys and focus groups over the past 10 years. She has also presented marketing research workshops for several library systems in Illinois, the Illinois Library Association, the Ohio Library Council and the Special Libraries – Illinois chapter.
Donna graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College, majoring in art history.
Ruth Campbell and Larry Hammond, Consultants
Ruth Campbell and Larry Hammond, are principals of Research in Marketing, Inc. (RIM). The firm has partnered with Donna E. Fletcher Consulting, Inc. for over 10 years on a variety of survey and focus group projects.
RIM was founded in 1970 in Chicago and now located in Winnetka, Illinois. It has designed and directed hundreds of quantitative studies divided into three broad segments - large and medium size corporations, industry associations and communities.
RIM prides itself on providing the survey expertise and service that meet the highest standards of research practice. Over the years, RIM's record for client satisfaction has been outstanding.
Ruth Campbell has an MBA from the University of Chicago, and Larry Hammond graduated from Northwestern University.
Ruth Baacke, Library Consultant
Ruth began her career as a librarian in 1969 at New York University. She has since worked in a wide variety of libraries including SUNY New Paltz and SENYLRC in New York, the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC, and the Bellingham Public, Whatcom County Library System and Whatcom Community College libraries in Washington. She retired as Director of the Woodbury Public Library (Highland Mills, New York) in 2003 and has since been involved in archival projects in New York at the Woodbury and Newburgh Historical Societies. She currently lives in Bellingham, Washington and is working on a joint project of the Whatcom Museum and Bellingham Public Library on Bellingham neighborhoods. She is a member of the Whatcom Library Foundation Board.
As a result of her long and varied library career, Ruth has gained useful experience in many strategic areas such as policymaking, budgeting, personnel, collection development, library-community relations and library automation.
Ruth graduated from Vassar College majoring in English and has an MLS with honors from Columbia University. She also received a certificate in basic archives from the American Association for State and Local History.
